• 0H18N9 / 1.4301 / 304 is a chromium-nickel steel characterized by high resistance to corrosion, mainly atmospheric corrosion, sea water, weak acids, alkaline solutions and all food products.
• 00H17N14M2 / 1.4404 / 316L is a high-alloy steel with very high anti-corrosion resistance, much higher than 0H18N9 steel. It owes its corrosion resistance to the high nickel content and the addition of molybdenum. 1.4404 steel is resistant to atmospheric factors, corrosive effects of natural waters, alkaline solutions and acids, and retains its high anti-corrosive properties at elevated temperatures.
